You instantly transfer yourself from your current location to any other spot within range. You always arrive at exactly the spot desired—whether by simply visualizing the area or by stating direction, such as “900 feet straight downward,” or “upward to the northwest, 45° angle, 1200 feet.” You can bring along up to 500 pounds of nonliving matter or 250 pounds of living matter. After using this spell, you can’t take any other actions until your next turn.
If you arrive in a place that is already occupied by a solid body, you become trapped in the Astral Plane. Each round that you are trapped in the Astral Plane in this way, you may make a Will save (DC 25) to return to the Prime Material Plane at a random open space on a suitable surface within 100 feet of the intended location. If there is no free space within 100 feet, make a Will save each minute to appear in a free space within 1,000 feet. If there’s no free space within 1,000 feet, you are stuck on the Astral Plane until rescued.
